Originally from Washington D.C., he attended the prestigious Washington International School where he became bilingual in Spanish and English. He graduated with honors from the University of California at San Diego, majoring in sociology and minoring in Philosophy and Communications. He attended law school at Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco, graduating in the top 25% in 1990. While at Hastings Mr. Blair was a member and Managing Editor of the Hastings International and Comparative Law Review and received the Outstanding Appellate Advocacy Award. Mr. Blair was admitted to the California Bar December 4, 1990.Mr. Blair was in solo practice since 1991 specializing in criminal defense. He has tried court and jury trials throughout northern California and has represented clients in Hawaii, Nevada and Washington. He has specialized knowledge of forfeiture cases both state and federal.He has extensive experience in felony, serious felony, juvenile and misdemeanor matters, including drug cases, drunk driving cases, gang cases, vehicular manslaughter, and assaults and has unique experience in representing clients with immigration concerns in pending criminal matters or clearing criminal convictions for immigration purposes.In the last fifteen years Mr. Blair has expanded his practice to include civil litigation, probate litigation, and estate planning.
