She has specialized in criminal law for nearly a decade and has handled over 800 cases. Her areas of practice include criminal defense, juvenile criminal defense, domestic relations and immigration law. Carolyn's trial experience ranges from simple offenses to multiple murders and also has experience in capital litigation as well as major felonies.Carolyn has effectively represented a diverse spectrum of clients having grown up in the Hispanic community and immersed in Spanish language training while living in Mexico and Guatemala granted her conversational fluency. Further, Carolyn's practice of immigration law has given her an appreciation for the special challenges facing the immigrant community.In addition to her trial experience, Carolyn has had advanced training in preparing witnesses, cross examination tactics, and negotiating plea agreements.
