Rudy Coram is an associate at Moreno & Villarrubia LLP in its Immigration and Global Mobility Practice Group and the firm’s Corporate Department.  He was raised in Lebanon where he obtained his first law degree from La Sagesse University in 2000 and in 2002 he earned an L.L.M. from Boston University School of Law.Mr. Coram practiced law in Beirut, Lebanon and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates where he concentrated his practice on employment agreements, commercial transactions, construction agreements and in creating various entities such as limited liability companies, offshore companies and joint stock companies.  Mr. Coram counseled international clients on the most suitable venues for investing in the United Arab Emirates' market in view of the tax and legal incentives for investment at the free zones of the different Emirates.  Mr. Coram audited and drafted several bilingual, multi-million dollar contracts, ranging from employment agreements to leases, service contracts and joint ventures. In 2006, Mr. Coram returned to the United States where he earned his J.D. from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2009.  During law school, Mr. Coram volunteered for the Immigration Law Clinic and assisted its counsels in preparing asylum cases by translating documents and interpreting the interviews with their French speaking clients.  After graduation, Mr. Coram, practiced personal injury, family law and probate and has a remarkable record of settling cases out of the courtroom. Mr. Coram has attended conferences on international law and was a presenter of the following papers that he wrote; A Comparative Study of the Laws of Estate between Secular America and the Sectarian Estate Laws of Lebanon, Second Annual Younger Comparativists Committee Conference, Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, Indianapolis, IN (April 2013), Foreign Investments in Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates from a Comparative Law Perspective, Guest speaker at Comparative Law class, Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, Indianapolis, Indiana (June, 2013).Mr. Coram is fluent in English, Arabic and French and is conversant in spoken Spanish. He is a church event volunteer at St. Monica Catholic Church and a member of Alliance Francaise of Indianapolis.Mr. Coram is admitted to practice law in Indiana, Indiana Supreme Court, and the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana and is a member of Beirut Bar Association, Indiana State Bar Association, United States District Court, Northern and Southern District of Indiana and the Indianapolis Bar Association.
