Danielle Jones graduated from Brigham Young University Law School as part of the Class of 2011. During law school, Danielle was a Senior Editor of the Law Review and Lead Articles Editor of the Education and Law Journal. Danielle was a finalist in the NBLSA negotiation competition and was President and a founding member of the BYU Chapter of the Black Law Students Association. Danielle was also the Vice President of Students and received an award for Meritorious Achievement and Distinguished Service.Danielle has been working in immigration since 2011. She completed a prestigious year-long fellowship with Safe Horizon Immigration Law Project in Brooklyn, New York. She worked with victims of violence, completing various U visa, T visas, Affirmative Asylum, and VAWA cases. Danielle also completed coursework for an interdisciplinary Masters of Arts at New York University. Danielle also volunteered her time with Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington to help indigent French speaking clients resolve their immigration issues. Most recently, Danielle was the Senior Immigration Attorney for Nexus Caridades Attorneys, Inc. and provided probono representation on a variety of matters, and was named Attorney of the Year for 2016.Danielle learned Spanish in New York and is excited to continue serving the Spanish speaking community. Danielle has experience with a variety of immigration matters and has substantial experience in the courtroom.
