Ken Kabb was admitted to the practice of law before the Ohio Supreme Court in 1969. He is also admitted in the Federal Courts, Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, and the United States Supreme Court. His law experience is varied, including Administrative Law (Social Security, Black Lung, Workers Compensation), medical-legal and engineering issues, industrial safety, and injury and disability law. His current areas of law emphasize Elder Law, Social Security Disability/SSI, Veterans Claims, and Estate Planning.He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio University (cum laude), Doctor of Law from Cleveland Marshall Law School of Cleveland State University, and is a graduate of the Professional Fellows Program at Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western University. Prior to becoming an attorney he worked as a mechanical and bio-medical engineer in machine design and artificial kidneys.Ken resides in Beachwood, Ohio. He is an accomplished sailor with blue water ocean cruising experience, as well as the former owner of a sailing school. He has enjoyed motorcycling for many years and was involved in bringing a motorcycle safety course to Ohio and taught it for some years. In addition to a 100 Ton Coast Guard Masters License, he holds a private pilot license and is a great admirer of old aircraft and the pilots that flew them.His writings have been published on a variety of subjects including articles on artificial organs, motorcycling, sailing, Hispanic history, law review, a small book of poetry, and a celestial navigation text for his sailing school.The Log of the Shalom
