Aimee Melich, Esq., was born in Caracas, Venezuela and came to Miami, Florida when she was 6 years old. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida International University with a degree in Criminal Justice in 2006. Thereafter, Aimee received her Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University in 2010 and graduated at the top 30% of her class.  While at St. Thomas University, Aimee received Dean’s List multiple semesters and was the president of the Florida Association of Women Lawyers. She was an ambassador for the St. Thomas Law School Blog and participated in the summer abroad study program in San Lorenzo, Spain in 2008.Aimee also clerked at the Broward County Courthouse, 17th Judicial Circuit of Florida under the Honorable Ana Gardiner. Once out of law school she began her career as a foreclosure and bankruptcy attorney and quickly learned the field. She went on to now  work for the biggest consumer bankruptcy firm in Florida  for  the Chapter 7 bankruptcy and debt relief department, her current firm, which she returned to after an extended maternity leave.Aimee has business level proficiency in verbal and written Spanish and participates in a Spanish-language television show  giving legal advice in all areas of consumer debt relief, real estate, estate planning and asset protection. Aimee practices primarily in the areas of bankruptcy, debt relief, real estate litigation and estate planning and asset protection.Aimee is a member of The Florida Bar and the United States District Court Southern District of Florida Bar.
