He has a Bachelor's Degree in Management and Information Systems and received his law degree from the University of New Mexico School of Law where he was on the Dean's list.While in law school, his mother was diagnosed with brain cancer and passed away. A missed diagnosis during her care fortified Michael's resolve to help those unjustly injured by the negligence of others.
