Gina M. Polo was born in Miami, Florida, and attended Florida State University, from which she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Psychology. She obtained her law degree at the University of Florida, Levin College of Law in 1999, and was admitted to practice in the State of Florida that same year. Ms. Polo is currently a partner at the law firm, Weiss, Alden & Polo, P.A., an immigration law firm established in 1976.Ms. Polo is certified by the Florida Bar as an expert in Immigration and Nationality Law.Ms. Polo limits her practice to United States immigration law. Ms. Polo has also participated with the Miami Children's Initiative in rappelling off of the JW Marquis Hotel in order to raise funds for the organization. She has also organized participation of her colleagues to serve meals at the Chapman Partnership homeless shelter in downtown Miami.
