Edward Ramos obtained his J.D. from Yale Law School in 2012, and joined the firm in August of that year as a Yale Public Interest Fellow. He continued with the firm as an associate upon completion of his fellowship year. Mr. Ramos's work at the firm concentrates primarily on immigration-related litigation before federal courts, as well as litigation in immigration court and before the Board of Immigration Appeals.As a law student, Mr. Ramos served as a student supervisor of the Immigration Legal Services Clinic, where he collaborated with clinical faculty and other students to represent immigrants seeking asylum in the United States. He also participated in a law school clinic providing assistance with a Federal Tort Claims Act/Bivens civil rights lawsuit on remand from the U.S. Supreme Court, and served as a student director of the Non-Profit Organizations clinic, where he provided transactional corporate and tax advice to budding non-profit community groups. As a result of his work, Mr. Ramos was awarded the Stephen J. Massey Prize, as the student who best exemplifies
