Richard F Landrigan focuses on litigation in the areas of general tort, workers' compensation, corporate and business, Social Security, family, and criminal law. Throughout his roughly thirty years with the firm and almost forty years of legal experience he has successfully obtained millions of dollars in civil judgments and settlements for business and individual clients. Mr. Landrigan graduated from Boston College in 1966 and from Boston College Law School in 1973. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, Georgia and the District of Columbia. Prior to joining the firm he served for a number of years as trial counsel with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in Atlanta and as labor counsel to Hay Associates, a management consulting firm.Prior to completing law school Mr. Landrigan served in the Peace Corps in Chile from 1966 to 1968 and with the Agency for International Development in Vietnam from 1969 to 1971. He maintains fluency in Spanish and Vietnamese and for a number of years has worked closely with the Hispanic and Vietnamese communities in the Boston area. He has been recognized for that work as a recipient of the Boston Bar Association's Distinguished Service to Justice Award.Mr. Landrigan is involved in a number of community service organizations. He is Vice President for Membership and Relationships and sits on the executive board of the Knox Trail Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Landrigan was recently given the Silver Beaver Award and the Sudbury, MA Good Scout Award by the Boy Scouts of America in recognition of his work in scouting. Mr. Landrigan is a leader in his parish youth group as a teacher and as a leader for a number of years of a biennial trip to a mission in Honduras. He is a board member and President of APUFRAM International an organization that supports the work of a brother organization in Honduras and the Dominican Republic whose focus is on educating poor children, www.apufram.org. He completed a lengthy term as a member of the board of trustees of the Boston Archdiocese's central high schools.
