Monique received her undergraduate degrees in Psychology and in Ethnic Studies from the University of California, San Diego. Prior to law school Monique worked for United Way where she connected underprivileged populations with health and human services. In 2014, Monique received her law degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where she graduated cum laude. During law school, Monique had the honor of interning for the Honorable Fernando J. Gaitain, Jr. in the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri. Additionally, Monique worked at the Veteran's Legal Assistance Clinic where she represented military veterans with various legal issues in the areas of family, criminal, and administrative law. Monique also volunteered at the Superior Court of California Self Help Resource Center in San Bernardino and San Diego counties assisting self-represented litigants with various civil and family law matters. In 2015 Monique was admitted to the State Bar of California and joined Clark Law Group as an associate in 2016.
