Ms. Manzanero joined the firm in February, 2013. Her practice is limited to immigration and nationality law. She currently manages a case portfolio of family-based immigration, citizenship, humanitarian relief, and deportation litigation, and collaborates with the firm's representation of clients in front of Immigration Courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals, Department of Homeland Security agencies, Federal District Courts and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Manzanero is admitted to practice before all Florida State Courts and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. She is fluent in Spanish and conversational in Russian.Ms. Manzanero was born and raised in Madrid, Spain. She graduated from the New College of Florida, the Honors College of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics in 2003. Ms. Manzanero was awarded the prestigious Carnegie Endowment for International Peace Junior Fellowship to conduct U.S. foreign policy research in Washington, D.C. She received her Juris Doctor with a Certificate of Concentration in International Law from Stetson University College of Law in 2012. While at Stetson, she served as a law intern in the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida; the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection; and the Immigration Unit at Gulfcoast Legal Services. Ms. Manzanero also worked as a research assistant and teacher assistant to Professor of Law, Luz E. Nagle, a renowned international law scholar and former Colombian judge. Ms. Manzanero community service includes serving as president of Stetson's International Law Society and vice-president of the Immigration Law Students Association.
