Stephen received his law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2012.  In law school, Stephen was the Topics Editor for the University of Illinois Law Review, served as a Teacher’s Assistant for Business Associations I and II, and received the CALI award for the highest grade in Elder Law.  Stephen published two articles during law school, Chipping Away at the Illinois Brick Wall:  The Use of Calder Jurisdiction in Indirect Purchaser Litigation, (University of Ilinois Law Review, 2012), and Zone of Uncertainty:  New Developments in Damages for Wrongful Birth (Illinois Defense Counsel Quarterly, 2011).Since 2012, Stephen has been an associate attorney at Coplan & Crane, Ltd., prosecuting cases on behalf of injured clients and their families in personal injury and Wrongful Death cases.  Because of his excellent skills as a writer, Stephen has played an instrumental role for the firm's clients, by preparing legal briefs in the trial courts and courts of appeal, in both Illnois State courts and our federal courts.
