Mr. Bersticker is the Chair of the Corporate Practice Group and is engaged in a comprehensive corporate law practice. He advises buyers, sellers and investors in mergers and acquisitions, private equity and commercial financing transactions, and has represented clients in public and private transactions in a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, energy, banking, real estate, consumer products, distribution and technology.Mr. Bersticker counsels his clients in the planning structuring, financing and operations of their businesses. He acts as outside general counsel for the clients he works with to advise, structure and implement a variety of middle market acquisitions, mergers, tender offers and divestitures. He engages in venture capital, private equity, fundless sponsor and leveraged buyout transactions on behalf of buyers and sellers.Mr. Bersticker also has significant experience in representing private equity funds in investments and financings and the management of portfolio companies, including debt and equity financings, follow-on acquisitions and liquidity events. This includes advising clients in debt and equity financings, recapitalizations, restructurings and workouts. He also represents clients in public and private securities offerings and registrations.Prior to joining the firm in 1989, Mr. Bersticker served as Judicial Law Clerk to Ohio Supreme Court Justice Ralph S.
