Alison Asarnow joined Katz, Marshall, & Banks, LLP in September 2008. She has helped achieve favorable outcomes for numerous clients in a range of employment discrimination cases, including pregnancy discrimination, sexual harassment, and race discrimination, and in whistleblower cases under the Sarbanes-Oxley corporate whistleblower protections, False Claims Act anti-retaliation provisions, Surface Transportation Assistance Act retaliation provisions and state law. She is currently representing several clients in submitting whistleblower tips to the SEC under the new Dodd-Frank SEC whistleblower program.Ms. Asarnow received her J.D. in 2008 from Harvard Law School, where she was an articles editor for the Harvard Journal of Law and Gender and a student attorney at the Harvard Immigration and Refugee Clinic and at the Wilmer-Hale Legal Services Center. In her clinical work, she litigated on behalf of individuals on employment and asylum matters, including working on a successful claim for an asylum seeker from the Democratic Republic of Congo. While in law school, Ms. Asarnow also worked as a law clerk for the Farmworker Program of Legal Aid Services of Oregon, the United Mine Workers, and for a public interest employment law firm in Boston.
